Board Nominees
The Nominating Committee has nominated Steve Poston and Cliff Deberry to fill the two open positions on the Board of Directors for three-year terms, which expire in 2029.
In addition, due to the resignation of a current Board member before the expiration of their term, the Nominating Committee has nominated Rhonda Williams to fill the remainder of this term, which expires in 2027.

Steve Poston retired from MLG&W in 2018 after 39 years working in the Customer Engineering Department. He has
served LGWFCU in a volunteer capacity for over 16 years, and currently serves on the LGWFCU Board of Directors. He is dedicated to advancing the credit union and making it accessible to all members. He will continue to do his best at ensuring that LGWFCU remains one of the most financially stable credit unions in the area. He believes that the only way to keep things on the right track is to keep the right people in the right position.
Cliff DeBerry, Jr. is a retired Vice President of Design, Construction, and Delivery at Memphis Light, Gas and Water (MLGW). In this capacity, he oversaw and coordinated construction and maintenance operations across several divisions, including Residential and Commercial Engineering Design, Lighting Services, and Builder and Developer Services. Mr. DeBerry obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Christian Brothers College, now known as Christian Brothers University, in 1987. He furthered his education by earning a Master of Business Administration degree from Memphis State University in 1994. He is a registered professional engineer, licensed in the state of Tennessee. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. DeBerry serves on the board of the Mid-South Food Bank, is an active member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, and currently serves on the LGWFCU board.
Rhonda Williams has dedicated 33 years of service to Memphis Light, Gas and Water (MLGW), and currently holds the position of Manager of Special Projects for Gas and Water Engineering and Operations. Her prior roles include Manager of Water Construction and Maintenance, as well as Manager of Transportation and Supply Operations. Mrs. Williams earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tennessee in 1992 and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Memphis in 1998. She is a licensed professional engineer authorized to practice in the state of Tennessee. Additionally, she serves as a director on the LGWFCU board.
